There are tons of books that were written years and years ago that still contain very relevant information that you could turn into articles. You can just find some books that are in the public domain and either copy them directly to your website or rewrite them substantially and submit them to article directories.
Just make sure that the public domain works that you use is relevant to your site. You will probably want to go through a bit and possibly add some specific keywords. Also, since it is available to anyone, there is a good chance that others have used it as well – so you may want to add your own spin to it if you can.
